Our Mission

We aim to maintain and enhance the conservation of the local rainforest and wildlife by offering experiences that facilitate and encourage a connection with nature.

Our Values

We strive to go above and beyond for our clients no matter the challenge. We aim to deliver our very best work every single day across our services.

We are a Costa Rican naturalist guide who grew up in the jungle right here in Drake Bay and a Swiss biologist who has been living on this place since more than 17 years.

Together we created Encanto Experiences to share our home the way we live it: Slow, authentic and full of wonder.

Every experience was created from our own genuine interests and passions.

We only share what we truly love to do in Drake Bay. There aren’t tours we copied. These are things we do on Sundays.

No big groups. No scripted tours. Just you, us, and the real Drake Bay. The same rivers we played in as kids. The same trails we still learn something new every day.

Welcome to Encanto.

If you want a peaceful haven with the opportunity to see wildlife without the crowds, go to Encanto Experiences. We received such a warm welcome from Edu and Sabrina. They are excellent hosts and cooks, using ingredients from their farm. We enjoyed paddling in their boat along the estuary to the beach and in the mangroves, viewing capuchin monkeys, parrots, macaws and other wildlife.
